Dr. Eben Alexander – The Inaugural Speech
It is a great pleasure to announce that Dr. Eben Alexander, the author of the New York Times bestseller The Proof of Heaven, assumed the position of the President of Oxford Humans as of 1 September 2025. We would like to celebrate this occasion with you and invite you to his inaugural talk.
Title: Science of the Soul
A modern understanding of quantum physics and myriad expressions of conscious experience around the process of dying reveal the existence of the soul across time and space, from a timeless perspective. Its integration with other souls contributes to the evolution of consciousness itself. Dr. Alexander will share how his own NDE and scientific studies into related phenomena serve as evidence of a generalized consciousness independent of the brain. He will discuss these findings and how they demonstrate a soul’s growth in information and understanding over more than one physical lifetime, and how the binding force of love leads towards wholeness, healing and understanding.
